The plugin works correctly. But it seems what you have set is not the same as what you have wanted. The setting for “Good morning” is: show the widget every weekday from June 6th 2018 00:00 to June 11th 2030 11:59. But you want: show the widget every weekday from June 6th 2018 to June 11th 2030 between 00:00 and 11:59, right?

Does the free version not allow certain times of the day?

What we want to achieve is:

Good Morning = 12 midnight – 12 noon
Good Afternoon = 12 noon – 18.00
Good Evening = 18.00 – 12 midnight

No. The free version allows certain days of the week. The Pro version allows that, too, and certain times of each day of the week.
