User Import

When I use the WP Import function to bring in that information into WP Members, it imports the username, email, first and last names, but not the address and tel number.

One important note is that you aren’t importing information “into WP-Members.” Users are WordPress users, so you’re importing them as such.

If your data is not showing, it’s likely your meta keys don’t match up. Check the meta keys you are importing the user fields as against the meta keys of fields you expect to see in the WP-Members Fields tab. The keys must be the same.

Keep in mind that the WP-Members fields are just defaults to get you started. You don’t have to use those fields or meta keys. Create the fields you need and delete the ones you don’t.

I am planning, but haven’t tried yet, using the free WP Ultimate CSV Importer. This is going to a one time deal for approx. 100 users. Chad, have you had any user reports about this plug in tool (realizing it is not associated with you whatsoever)?
