Google AuthenticationService

Calls are being made to https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js/AuthenticationService.Authenticate?1shttps://MY_SITE_URL_HERE/&callback=_xdc_._ge4btm&token=90470 for pages that don’t contain the Store Locator. Is there a way to prevent this? They stop being made when I deactivate the plugin. Obviously that is not a solution but I wanted to determine which part of the site is causing the call. Any insight is much appreciated.
