newbie & totally baffled

  • Hello, I am brand new to blogs and websites and am completely baffeled as to how to put information into the boxes on my blog….
    I am using the soho serenity theme and it has boxes on the sides and other areas on the page that are named:
    about the author – has a face in it with a taped x on the mouth
    welcome to our site
    a blank box under a scroll that says “Showcase”

    I know how to post to the blog but I have no idea how to change the words in the other boxes…..
    I would like to use one of the boxes for the affiliate products that I want to recomend and sell
    How do I add affiliate products names/links into these boxes and how do i change the title of the box…..
    Thank you for any help you can give me…..I am totally stuck here and do not know what to do.
