Creating A Separate Home Page on public_html

Hi all,

I have a blog on the domain extension /blog. I’d like to create a simple home page that can be installed on my main domain (without the extension) but looks like my blog with a little bit of custom text to send new readers to the blog itself.

Is this possible and if yes, what do I need to do to get this done. Please give me detailed instructions as to copy the style.css then upload to public_html etc.

As long as the header and footer are part of the look I don’t care for much else.
