Oceanwp & Elementor Error

    Hi, I seem to have trouble using elementor to create my home page, no shop pag etc, just the home page. But when I try opening the Home page with Elementor, it gives me “The preview could not be loaded” error and Go Back button. I seem to be getting this error frequently when trying to create different pages. I have tried deactivating non-essential plugins, even rolled back on the theme and the essential plugins like woocommerce and elementor. Nothing worked. I dont have that issue when using another theme. Can you please help.

    Hello, first we need to find what can be wrong. Try to go on Settings > Permalinks and click Save Changes, check if you still have the issue.
    What is your PHP version? If it is not PHP 7, upgrade to it and check your issue.

    Hi, this is the php version:
    PHP Version 7.0.30-0ubuntu0.16.04.1

    WordPress 4.9.6 running

    As for Permalinks, Not sure what you want me to change:

    Hi, had to use shortcodes to paste elementor generated items on my home page. still cant access page with elementor for editing.

    Hi, if you create a new page, do you have the same issue? If you disable OCean Extra, it works?

    Hi, deactivated “Ocean Demo Import” and “Ocean Extra”, created a page called test, and giving the same problem. I even reinstalled my wordpress. Are anyone else having the same problems or is it just me? I can try and reinstall your theme but doubt it will happen. I have already bought “Elementor Pro” and “Essential Addons for Elementor – Pro” and would really like to use them.

    was the permalinks, on setting Plain, it works better.

    Sir, I also face the same issue with my Woocommerce site. There’s still loading to open the pages with elementor. I’ve tried a lot but there’s no solution. Assist me.

    Hello @pamheiba3, is your PHP version is PHP 7?

    I am having similar issues too. I am using OceanWP along with Elementor and PHP7 but since today my logo, nav menu, and my customised breadcrumbs have stopped displaying properly.

    The problem is definitely Ocean Extra since I deactivated all my plugins and activated them one by one to discover the issue with Ocean Extra, can you please advise.

    Hello, can you send me your site url so I can see the issue?
    If you go to Theme Panel > Scripts & Styles, is there any script or style disabled? If yes, enable them all and click save changes, if it still doesn’t solve the issue, go to your wp-content/uploads folder via FTP and delete the oceanwp folder there.

    Everything needed in the theme panel was enabled e.g. all the headers including custom headers, all menus etc. Despite that I went on to enable everything like you suggested. I also deleted the folder in the content uploads.

    No changes, Ocean Extra is still not working for me.
