No longer works for new FB apps

The WP Facebook Auto Publish will work for apps created before may 1.
We are working on an alternative method for auto publishing with v3.0 apps.

Yes, it works, but apparently only until August 1st.

I agree, a solution would be great, although, it seems most plugins that publish to facebook are in the same boat

I encountered this issue earlier, tried Zapier, same error, same issue.

Yeps, floating on the same boat.

Hope there is a fix for this as its killing our services.

We are working on the alternative methods for posting to Facebook, which require review from Facebook, the update will be released when facebook approve our app. Which we are expecting on or before Aug 1.

Can’t get the plugin to work any more. What to do?

I ended up switching to Dlrvr.it

There are 2 options in updated WP Facebook Auto Publish,
one is to submit your app for review
(required permissions- manage_pages and publish_pages) and get it approved(See steps : https://help.xyzscripts.com/docs/social-media-auto-publish/faq/how-can-i-create-facebook-application/)
second is to use our pre-approved app
(This is a hosted service and hence requires payment,See steps : https://help.xyzscripts.com/docs/social-media-auto-publish/faq/how-can-i-use-the-alternate-solution-for-publishing-posts-to-facebook/)
