Shortcode or PHP support?

  • Wanting to revisit the possibility of allowing either shortcode or php support in the email template. We’d like to be able to run a WordPress loop at the bottom of the email with the latest news and additional downloads without having to edit the template every time we make a change.

    Is there any possibility of processing shortcodes or at least php at the same time the [file_name] and [file_url] tags are being populated?

    CF7 does allow shortcodes to be used in their email templates adding a filter to ‘wpcf7_form_elements’ so I’m hoping this is a possibility for EBD.
