Files not backuped

Hi Michel, have you checked the disk space available, do you have enough to make a full backup?

I have “no limit”. Currently I am using only 9.42 GB / ∞.
To be sure, I just copied the file with another name without any problem.

Any other idea?

In XCloner Config ->System tab, there is an option called “Force Temporary Path Within XCloner Storage”, try and enable that and see if it helps.

You would need to modify it’s scheduled time so it runs sooner… you can’t trigger a future scheduled backup

This is something you should develop: modification of an existing backup (modify schedule date/time, modify files/tables to in-/exclude…)

It is better (more files are backuped), but there are still many files they are not.

Furthermore:

(1) There are many folders that are backuped as files of 0 byte size.

(2) There are many files in the backup base folder:
“backup_xxx.fr-2018-06-23_01-14-sql-d5395.tar\01836308ef8274b8f40f576da14b95efa5b66d8e5c3bbcd40df782e6fe3a.php”
but these files should in another folder:
“ftp://[email protected]/public_html/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar/cache/twig/08/e4/4d5fc50332367b2d7e81902230ac0e7ea950ee003ec7a490752fc6534c00.php”

But do you still get the initial error? The xcloner logger should have more details on when a file is excluded from the backup, unless there are errors.

More details: In the log file,

• There are 64505 lines with “to the file system list” (files to backup), and
• 35989 lines of “to archive backup” (backuped files).

Yesterday, the counts were: 20521 backuped files, against 63139 to backup.

These files seem to be created every hour+5′.

After debugging, i have found out that the scheduling process might have been interfering with the browser backup process, so i would suggest to:

1. disable WP_CRON as explained here https://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/website/wordpress/disabling-the-wp-cronphp-in-wordpress and trigger the wp-cron.php through a server scheduler process

2. run the browser backup process only after the scheduler process is finished, or at least make sure it’s not running

Ok, thank you for this advice.

I disabled WP_CRON, and I trigger the server CRON every hour. I will see for the next backup.
