Redesign and shift to 1.3a4

  • I was moving my site and decided to redesign and move to 1.3a4 at the same time.
    Took the time to try and make the site a bit more article focused (I’m a wannabe writer, so I guess that makes sense).
    Great piece of software, thanks to the whole WordPress crew, 1.3 is looking awesome, the static pages feature is great and the themes implementation is outstanding, one click and the whole site design can change.
    For anyone considering 1.3, remember it is an alpha release, but, so far at least, a very stable, very usable version and it fills the only flaws I thought 1.2 had perfectly.

    Nope, it’s using a modified version of the MtDewVirus Recent Comments plugin.

    very clean design but in IE the post on the homepage link keeps disappearing every little while

    Is the “latest entries” feature derived from a plugin? which?

    As I mentioned, it’s derived from a slightly modified version of the MtDewVirus Recent Comments plugin.

    Cheers, bud. I had noticed the bg colour was off on some machines, overlooked it. Should be sorted now.

    Yes! Much better. I noticed mainly because I changed the settings in my browser to display a pale blue when no backgorund is supplied. Helps to catch things like that.

    My NaNoWriMo entry? Let’s see, it’s Nov 12, which should put me squarely 12 days behind…… I still have to even write the first friggin word! I’ve got the idea, some sense of a plot, but no writing. I should “just do it” as they say, but for some reason I simply cannot bring myself to do it. I’d be lucky to reach 1000 words this time around. Too many distractions.

    Is there contact info anywhere on your site? And is the heading ‘Writting & Scribblings’ supposed to say Writing?

    There was contact info, it’s momentarily “lost” because of the re-design, but I plan to add it back in soon. And, yes it shoudl be Writing, not writting…. grr…. this is what I get for doign this at 2am!
