Site won’t load

  • Our site won’t load and I am unable to access admin page.

    when I attempt to log into our site this is what appears

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /home/nitro/public_html/wp-content/plugins/sydney-toolbox/sydney-toolbox.php on line 100

    Not sure how to proceed.
    I’ve been told to correct error with PHP but I am unable to log into the site.

    Is this something that I need our server provider to do?

    seems like you might have a problem with plugin sydney-toolbox
    you can rename a plugin folder to temporarily deactivate it.
    you can get to the wp-content folder where your plugins are stored via FTP tool or in webhosting file manager area.

    after deactivating the plugin, you should be able to access your wp-admin area again to fix issue as needed.

    I’m having the same problem today, after I updated the Sydney Plug in. I did not touch the code at all and now I won’t be able to access my website.

    How did you fixed it? Please be so kind and let me know what you did.

    I had to get the manager of our server fix the issue. Removal of the plug in had to happen.
    I won’t be using it or updating it.
    Good luck.

    I wasn’t able to log into our site at my level. It had to be at the server level.

    Lame plugin. Happened to me too. Will delete it now.
