Change slider images

To set slider images, just as simple create posts have featured images. Keep all posts under certain categories, better if you use only one category (like a slider).

After created, go to customizer settings for the slider ie.
Wp-dashboard => Appearance => customize > Slider settings >> Featured slider settings

Here, select the category under whose posts feature image will act as slider images.

Hi, I did this but now the slider also shows up on the blog page as a blog post. Is there any way to take it off the blog page but keep it in the home page slider?
