i’m Vietnamese blogger. I have a problem about displaying accented character in table content. It cannot display any character like: huy?n, s?c, h?i, ng?, n?ng, etc. Instead of “Tám”, it displays “Tu00e1m” Is there any way to solve this?.

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

This indicates that another plugin is breaking the tables. One plugin that is known for this is “Outbound Link Manager”.
Can you therefore please try again after temporarily deactivating all other plugins and after switching to a WordPress default theme like Twenty Sixteen? That way, we can find what’s causing this.
Note that you will have to manually fix all broken tables, as the other plugin has corrupted them in the database.

    Regards,
    Tobias

OMG! It works. The “Outbound Link Manager” plugin did this error. But how you can find out this error? Outbound Link Manager is not a famous plugin, which is no longer upgraded.

Anyway, thank you so much for helping me.

    Hi,

the error is that Outbound Link Manager uses the stripslashes() function in the wrong way. Unless the developer fixes this, you must keep the plugin deactivated whenever you are saving a TablePress table.

    Regards,
    Tobias
