Porfolio category archive template

Hi,

I have created templates for portfolio archive and single, but I cannot seem to create one for the portfolio_category post type. It is using the default archive template.

i have tried using category-portfolio.php & archive-portfolio_category.php to override the default but without any luck.

Any suggestions?
