This page is currently unable to handle

Hi all
I have been having this problem with a clients website for a few days now and everything I have tried has failed.
The site is a new WordPress install, and when I try to access the sites wp-admin page I keep getting the same error “This page isn’t working
[redundant domain redacted] is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500″
My hosting is from Bluehost.
I have tried YouTube but all of the problems there seem to be with plugins and as I said earlier it’s a new WordPress install so there are no plugins.
Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.
I have tried using a different browser”Firefox” but I get “You must log in to this network before you can access the network Open network login page”
When I open network login page I get this message “”https://detectportal.firefox.com/success.txt

Please help.
P.S I have also cleared cache.
