Product price is marked “free” even if variations are set up with prices

I’ve got a class product defined as a registration type product. The price is determined by two variations: full price or deposit. For this product, both variations have a defined price.

The problem is, the product page shows “Free” as the main price, but also shows the variations with the price according to the chosen variation. What I’d prefer is that the general price for the product follow the default variation selection.
