• I had the pro version on and off. This weekend was the last of it. Went back and forth with my host. They were about to sell me an even larger server. Then, the tech said when he turned off all plugins, the site came back. I did the same on my end via FTP, logged into the admin page, turned plugins back on. Then, I was able to get to my plugins and disable Social Warfare and Social Warfare Pro.

The site is back up and works now. An entire weekend of visitors to my site lost. One advertiser just called and pulled his ads.

Terrible plugin. Avoid at all costs.

  • Hello.
I experienced the same. I am now on Version 3.0.9 and I am doubting to update again to latest 2 days ago V 3.1.0

Did you experience this with the same update or previous ?

    Thank you VM..

Yes, I did. There was that one episode a couple of months ago (?) when they broke everyone’s sites. They eventually emailed everyone about that, but not after my host spent hours trying to figure out why my site was crashing — and, I lost readers.

This time I lost an annual advertiser, one of our first.

    Enough.

    Dear gwkopy

    BAD. really BAD.
    I am sorry.
I escaped from catastrophe by disabling it for days.
fortunately I have some knowledge in such case, but what the heck with this plugin.
Dev. PLEASE reconfirm we can safely update !!!!!!!
