Images in left side of product detail page

    Hi there,

    In product detail page, I get the main image thumbnail at left side of description, with a scrolling bar that seems to be meaning that I can have more than one pictures.

    – How to add more than one pictures for a given item?
    I only have a section for a single image “The main image that will be displayed in association with this product.”

    – Is it possible to hide this sidebar with thumbs, in case there is only a single image?

    Hi John,

    Would you be able to post a link to your site?

    If you add the following to the “Custom CSS” box of your catalogue, it should hide the sidebar:

    .prod-cat-addt-details-thumbs-div {display:none;}

    Sorry, no link yet as I’m still on local server.

    I also thought about adding this in CSS, and it works fine, but was wondering:

    1. whether there was a specific option for doing so?
    2. what’s this sidebar for exactly? It currently displays a thumb of the product.
    If it’s for displaying more images about a product, where I’m supposed to add them?
    If it’s for something else, I would be glad to know what for exactly.

    Hi John,

    1.There’s no option to remove the sidebar, but the CSS should do the trick.
    2.You could add more images by going to the “Products” tab and selecting your product. You’ll find option to upload additional images towards the bottom of that page.

    Thanks for this but I just notice that this option for adding more images is not available in free version:

    The full version of the Ultimate Product Catalogue Plugin is required to additional product images. Please upgrade to unlock this page!

    Hence my question to remove this sidebar when using free version as there are never additional images.

    I’ll use the CSS then, thanks!
