Amp Auto Ads – were should be inserted

  • Hi
    Google Adsense now offers the code to insert in header and body for Amp auto ads.
    Were should insert those codes:
    – in Amp for WP settings were we have option to insert header/ body code.
    or
    – in Amp Plugin files in the themes templates ( single.php, etc).

    With regards to your query, I would like to inform you that you can enter the Specific Codes here as per the Sections given in the below Screenshot
    (AMP –> Advance Settings –>).

    Does putting it in the Advanced AMP ads field do the same as in Header/Body? Should we NOT do both or does it matter? You could think about how you tell people who buy these plugins much better in the documentation.

    Hi Stu,

    No need to add the code in both Sections, either add the code in the AMP –> Advance Settings –> Body Section or else add the Code in the Advanced AMP ADS –> AMP Auto Ads Code Section.

    I inserted Adsense auto ads for AMP in the
    ” AMP –> Advance Settings –> Head and Body Section” .
    I am doing this in a stage site, and they are not working.
    In the live site “non AMP” they are displaying fine.

    May I know since when you’re facing the issue and in Staging Site does it work under Non-AMP Pages, share the URL with me so that I can check it for you?

    Some other thing are wrong with the staging site. I will try in the live site, that I know for sure that works fine.
    I wish to know if the plugin works fine enabled per site, in multisite, not enabled network wide.

    Could you be specific about your last question?

    I have a site with a wp multisite install, and only two subsites.
    example.com=>redirects to example.com/es
    and
    example.com/en
    I want to install wpforamp, disabled for the network and enabled in example.com/en, until I find the proper configuration for hueman theme.
    I did it in the stage site in that way.
    What I am asking if this could be an issue. Some plugins do not work well in that way.

    Adsense ads are not showing on amp pages of my website, I tried everything, even I tried the screenshot you provided Above, I am trying to put the ads on my amp from 2 days but nothing happened,
    I created child theme and pasted header and body code there and i also pasted body and header code in advance settings of amp for wp, yet not showing any ads

    please suggest the right way

    Hi @rajesh001,

    Do you want the AMP auto ads or normal advertisement on your website? and have you set up the amp auto ads on your Adsense account also? Will you please provide us your exact URL so that we will check one and let you know

    The code added under AMP –> Advance Settings header and footer are not reflecting in the amp pages created. I installed the plugin today itself.

    Edit: Sorry, its reflecting now. But ads are still not displayed. Maybe it will take some time. Will wait and reply back.
