• The (Beta at this time) 1.3 version of Duplicator has a new process feature called DupArchive, which uses a different type of compression (.daf), which results in a smaller archive package, and it seems to be much faster than the older method (.gzip, or .zip).

    Designed for resource restricted (budget) hosts, which seem to always timeout before the process can finish building the package. I could never get the previous version(s) to complete the packaging process on my ‘cheapesthostingyoucanget.xyz’ (generic name) site, even though I extended the process timeouts as much as I could determine how to do. I would always have to do a 2-part move.

    Ver 1.3 worked 1st run… no issues so far. Great Job.
