Yelp widget error

  • Saw the response from the developer to someone who was having a similar issue. Made zero sense. Please clarify….

    Hi the site is suddenly showing this error
    “API_V2_IS_DEPRECATED: This API is deprecated, please upgrade to yelp.com/fusion” for the last couple of days. is the free version not using v3 now? or do we need to upgrade to the premium version?

    The API key you have is outdated. You have to use the new Yelp API key and put that in the Yelp Widget settings. Here are Yelp’s instructions for creating the new 3.0 API key:

    Hi Matt, could you please be a bit more specific? I’ve created a new “App” per Yelp’s documentation, and I’ve been given a new API key, but I don’t see where I should enter the new key in your Yelp widget settings.

    Any help is much appreciated!
