    Hi,

Currently, your site shows this error message: “Error establishing a database connection”

Generally what you can check is whether you are using any other plugin to customize the checkout experience? This can break the features of my plugin in some cases.

    Hello @duracelltomi

thank you for your awesome plugin and descriptions.

I do get the same behaviour as descripted above on my page: https://www.campushelfer.de/de/buchen/

Here are two links to Screenshots of the order-received page:
    https://ibb.co/hr0byo
    https://ibb.co/nEJkr8

In the Datalayer there are Values for the event:gtm4wp.orderCompleteECC but the tag is not fired as gtm4wp.orderCompleteECC isn’t part of the trigger you described here: https://gtm4wp.com/how-to-articles/how-to-setup-enhanced-ecommerce-tracking.

    Thank you and best regards

    Simon

Update: I just saw that for “purchase” the filter from PageView-DOM Ready _event equals gtm.dom has a read cross. Screenshot: https://ibb.co/kheTdo

    Hi Simon,

May I ask you to open a new ticket next time?
You can of course post the link to the related topic but it is much easier for other users to check existing solutions and answers.

Based on your screenshots I can see many issues:
    * gtm4wp.orderCompleteECC is a legacy event, you do not need to use it, if you trigger your GA pageview tag on dom ready, the pageview data will also include the purchase data
    * this will be only added once, if you reload the page, the transaction data will not be added again to prevent double tracking of the same transaction
    * you are using another plugin that places a gtag.js code into your site. This is the Google Global Site Tag and the “purchase” event is also related to this other plugin

I advise you to review your active plugins.

    Hello,

Ok i’m sorry, i’m going to open a new request next time.

Yes i’m using another plugin at the moment as well because i’m only testing google tag manager at the moment (but need to track the right data). The other plugin uses another UA-ID. So should i disable all the other trackings to see if the purchase-data flows in the property?

    (@duracelltomi)

Even if this other plugin is using another UA ID, since it is using the Global Site Tag, it is using the same fundaments (the data layer) as GTM does. I would suggest to disable this other plugin even for a short period of time and check everything again without it.

    hello @@duracelltomi,

i tested it on a staging plattform and the purchases run into Analytics when the other plugin is disabled. Thank you a lot for that!

But i also saw, that in the purchase-report in the enhanced ecommerce section of Ga, there are no add-to-carts. But numbers for the other steps. Also when i add a product to cart with google tag manager-preview i do not see the event “gtm4wp.addProductToCartEEC”. I can offer you login-data for the staging-side via email.

    Have a nice weekend, Simon

    Hi Simon,

Due to the moderation rules of the www.ads-software.com forums, I can not ask for any login details here. If I would do so, a moderator would remove this and worst case remove the plugin from the repository as well.

If you miss the add to cart event at all, that might be because the theme is customized in a way that differs from the standard Storefront theme that much so that my plugin can not recognize the add to cart button as THE add to cart button. Your programmer might want to review this article to make sure everything works:
