Hi, what is the shortcode you are currently using?

    Hi

    It is:

    [cc ...]xxxx[/cc]

Although there are other short codes for this plugin, all detailed on their support page. But I use cc.

Hi, sorry but what I meant is what shorcode are you using for our plugin?

    Thread Starter Chuckie

    (@ajtruckle)

    Ah, Ok. That would be:

    [sdm_download id="1683" fancy="1" button_text="Download" show_size="1" show_version="1"]

Hi, so what happens when you use the above shortcode in regards to your issue.

But your system is not processing my shortcode content.

    Can you provide detail information.

    Thank you

You can already see. If you check their site you will see that it renders code nicely. My html syntax is being stripped out. Basically the coderender short code is not being processed.

The quickest way to resolve this is to install the plugin and try it. And look at the examples on their plugin page.

Checking your original question above. What process did you try out that led you to believe it was our plugin causing this issue?

In the download description edit box I input a CC short code. And the results was not correct.

I am not putting blame on anyone. I am simply stating that using the short code inside your description area doesn’t work right. So something somewhere must be failing.

I also tried text view to input content. Have you actually tried it yet? Thanks.

Hi, my apologies if you thought my words were in a way implying that you were blaming someone.

I just wanted to know what method you used or what steps you carried out to help me understand further your issue.

    Kind regards

On the description area for the download I was trying to add this:

    [cc lang="html" first_line="19"]
    <th class="cellSortHeading" id="column-1">Student</th>
    <th class="cellSortHeading" id="column-2">Last As Student</th>
    <th class="cellSortHeading" id="column-3">Last Bible Reading</th>
    <th class="cellSortHeading" id="column-4">Last As Publisher</th>
    <th class="cellSortHeading" id="column-5">Last As Talk</th>
    <th class="cellSortHeading" id="column-6">Last As Assistant</th>
    [/cc]

If I preview the above the results visually are:

    [cc lang=”html” first_line=”19″]
Student Last As Student Last Bible Reading Last As Publisher Last As Talk Last As Assistant

    [/cc]

This is supposed to render nicely as code with line numbers and it does on my pages and posts. But not if I put it inside the description of a download. It made sense to include it all inside this area for maintenance purposes.

Are you able to shed any light on this issue? Thanks.

Sorry but this is something that is beyond my capabilities. There is some part of the code in both plugins that is clashing with each other. Have you contacted the developers of the other plugin about this issue?

    Kind regards

    (@ajtruckle)

OK. At the moment they are not replying. Worse case scenario is I take the cod eout of the description and put it in main page. But i will give them a chance to reply.

    Thanks for looking.
