Importing from Blogger – ‘The site “xxxx” has not been registered’

    I’m having trouble attempting to import posts from my Blogger blog (https://82times.blogspot.com).

    Here’s the full text of the error I get after clicking the “Authorize” button:

    Access Request

    The page you have requested cannot be displayed. Another site was requesting access to your Google Account, but sent a malformed request. Please contact the site that you were trying to use when you received this message to inform them of the error. A detailed error message follows:

    The site “https://82times.com” has not been registered.

    Any ideas of what I need to do?

    For anyone who has the same problem, I used the following workaround:

    1. Create a free xxxxx.wordpress.com blog.
    2. Import your Blogger blog from there.
    3. Export everything from your new xxxxx.wordpress.com blog.
    4. Import the resulting exported file into your real blog.

    I used WP.com a couple weeks ago to import from Blogger, however, today, I am receiving the almost same error message as above trying to import from WP.com:

    Access Request

    The site “https://www.wordpress.com” has not been registered.

    So, the import tool on .org doesn’t actually import & the .com no lomger works either… any ideas?

    Hello.

    I have tried 82times’ suggest several times. Each try, I get this message, with varying #s of posts importing (most recently after #522, but this is an inconsistent number):

    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 131072 bytes) in /home2/*mysite*/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 302

    On this latest try, I got 170 out of 700 posts in. Previously, I have gotten all posts but not all comments. Or 460 post and some comments.

    Help? Please?
