• Hi everyone, I’ve trouble with my slider but I can’t find a topic with my problem to get any help…
Today for no reason (I haven’t touched the slider for a few month), the slider stopped “sliding”… If I switched for another slide as the first one it changes, but after that it remains static…

    Any advice?
    Thanks!

  • Just a guess… try clearing “FTS Feeds Cache” per https://www.slickremix.com/docs/clear-all-fts-feeds-cache/

    Hi @ag95,
I would suggest deactivating your plugins to test if any are conflicting. Let me know if there’s no change.

I tried to clear the Feeds Cache and also deactivating plugins and checking the website but nothing changed…

    Any suggestions so far?

    Thanks again!

Have you tried any of the other slider options to test if they are working? I’m not able to duplicate this issue on my sites.

Well, the problem is with the “Feed Them Social” plugin. Did you also clear the cache (server side), if you are using any caching plugin, after you cleared the Feeds Cache and/or deactivated the “Feed Them Social” plugin?

I have cleared all the cache possible I think.. I used WP Fastest Cache to do that and I set a “clear cache” every 24 hours…

I used the default slider in the theme for the home page…
If it’s possibile I’ll create an account for a member of the support team to check the problem because I cannot resolve this in any way

    Hey,
If you go to your site and right click, then in the popup click “inspect” and then look at your “console” you will see an error affecting javascript on your site. That error is clearly affecting the slider. But it’s coming from a plugin.

The first thing you should do is clear WP Fastest Cache and then deactivate it and leave it deactivated until the issue is resolved. It will only create confusion if you have that active will you are trying to problem solve your site.

Once you have that deactivated and off then you need to deactivate your plugin Feed Them Social and post back here with that and your caching deactivated. Once we can see that and see if it’s still broken then we will be able to determine what to do next.

Great, once I did all that the slider came back to life. Thanks!

But now, is there any way to make it work also with Feed Them plugin?

    Thanks so much!

Just try using the “Feed Them Social” plugin again – it may very well work. But, if it currently “just” deactivated, I suggest you then first delete that plugin. Then, reinstall it from scratch and then activate it.

If it then again “does not work”, you should post and ask in the “Feed Them Social” plugin support forum.
