• Hello,

The plugin is not reporting many 404 errors. We can tell by looking at our raw server logs and see 404 errors that the plugin has not logged on to the 404 error logs on the WordPress dashboard.

    Hi @lechon,

Can you share a few of them? WordPress may not handle server level errors, which will be handled by your server itself before reaching WordPress.

Here is a sample from the server logs. We are able to capture these 404s as well on the WordPress 404 module for the plugin iThemes.

    Hi,

I was wondering if you had any news regarding the missing 404s that the plugin is not picking up on the logs, on our end we are missing important 404s that we are seeing on our server error logs.

On a separate note, in one of our web sites we had to delete the plugin for trouble shooting something else. When we re installed the plugin the old settings were still there. Are there any files or settings left behind even if the plugin gets deleted? Where are the settings stored?

    Regards,
