• Hello, I tried this plugin, turned on most of the settings and — it stopped working. My website appeared as a blank page and WP administration was not accessible. I had to restore the whole wordpress and website installation from the backup copy (it took about 1+ hour).
So my question is — how to use the plugin safely?

    Thanks.

    hi

there is no reason for it to do that, unless you have a really old install or some other conflicts, also, instead of doing a restore, you can just delete the wp-disable folder via panel or ftp

I would start by installing plugin, disable all other plugins then if it works OK, one by one activate others till you find the conflict, then report back with that plugin name and we can take a look for you

Hello, thanks for the advice. I am not a programmer so it is a useful information about deleting the plugin folder. So I give it a try again.

You may be right about the “plugins conflict” on my website. It is an up-to-date instalation, both WP and all plugins are in current versions. But for some reason my website crashed the same way some time ago when I tried to disable the plugins to try to enable them one-by-one. I cannot find what causes the problem of complete crashing because when it happens I can only restore the backup ant it takes too long to repeat it until I found the cause of this error.

    Hi,

I had the same experience on localhost, XAMMP environment. Enabled some of the caching items in the “Requests” tab, clicked “Save Settings”… and my site died. Tried hiding (by renaming) the plugins folder, tried deleting the wp-disable plugin folder, no joy. Also had to restore from backup.
