• Is it possible to create a black list of sorts for emails? There is a India based company who I suppose pays someone to sit and type in form information to solicit their website consulting business (which has nothing to do with my business). They are careful to complete the form as if legitimate request for contact, and even use the same sales@domainxxx email. Of course, the comments include their solicitation. I think it is a real person simply because reCAPTCHA is not a deterrent.

About every third or fourth day I guess this person returns to my site and submits. So far, I have over a dozen. Ideally, I would like to be able simply allow them to waste their time but have the form go silent (not submit). If not that, is there a way to simply disallow any submission from sales@domainxxx ?

    Hi johnwp413,

We don’t currently have a way to prevent form submissions from an email address. I agree this would be a useful feature though, and I’ve added this to our feature request list for our team to consider down the road.

For now, a possible alternative might be to block certain IP addresses from accessing your site at all. Here’s a tutorial from WPBeginner showing how to do this: https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-block-ip-addresses-in-wordpress/

I apologize we don’t have what you’re looking for in this case, though we appreciate the suggestion ??

    Thanks Ethan.

    I am familiar with blocking.

My challenge will be to find the exact IP address for the one person of many who visit around the time the form is submitted. Would your PRO version track this for any form submitted?

    Hi johnwp413,

Yes, with any of the paid version of WPForms, you’ll be able to store submitted entries in your site and see the IP details of a user in the entry.

    I hope this helps ??
