can’t update files editor after updated wordpress to the latest version

  • Really frustrating this latest version. First, I’m not be able to update in Editor. Second, there is error message when I customize my site.

    Any help to fix the first problem?

    I even cannot activate any plugin right now! I’ve tried to clear browser and page cache, it didn’t work

    @rushabh4486 when I press “Update” button after editing in Editor colomn, it will takes very long loading. After the loading end, it getting error message says something like this: can’t connect to your server so we take back your PHP files. you may edit it using SFTP.

    I would highly recommend against doing that. A better practice really would be to use an S/FTP application to edit files. I’ve accidentally taken my site down too many times using the admin editor.

    Second, there is error message when I customize my site

    Can you explain a little more on this? Do you mean when you are using Appearance > Customize?
