Video Uploads Do not show

  • I have spent nearly 20 minutes searching for a place to start new topic, so here it is.

    I uploaded a video, says 100%, yet when I go to the media library it is not there. When I check the upload directory it is not there.

    I did this four times. Same results. Tried in different ways to add the video. All the same result.

    The maximum is 256mb, the video is 23mb The indicator shows it is fully uploaded, yet it does not exist.

    It is an mp4 video.

    So the file uploads but never makes it to wp-content/uploads/whatever? It might mean that you’re tight on disk space on your host. Check your usage against quota in cPanel and ask your host to take a look, too.

    Thank you Steve. I forgot to mention, that I can FTP to the uploads folder. But uploading through WP it never shows after it says it is uploaded.

    Update: attempted to use the single file upload in WP Dashboard rather than the multi file upload. Could not upload at all.

    Will try from another computer.

    The WP version is the latest update.
