    I have a picture store.
    If there is a product page 404 error, the client gets a link to the My Pictures folder on the hosting server, and can see all the products. And it’s not secure. I’m in trouble!

    Add this to the first line of your .htaccess file for an instant fix.

    ErrorDocument 404 /

    It’s only a temporary solution, I have no idea whats wrong with your shop!

    It sounds like your permalinks aren’t working as expected. It might be worthwhile resaving them and testing things again.

    If that doesn’t work, I recommend setting them to “default” and then getting in touch with your hosting provider to check your .htaccess file and whether it’s configured to support pretty permalinks.
