Lost Data

    I recently updated my wordpress but had some problems. Therefore I was forced to delete everything and reinstall a fresh WordPress. I have lost all my data (posts, pages, users etc). I have a backup of my files on the older wordpress. What files hold this data? What files must i replace in order to get my data back?

  • your database holds all the info – not the files
    connect your new install to the old database in wp-config.php
