Post Type Order reset on post save

  • Hi there,

    Something strange has started happening on our website last Tuesday (1 August)

    We have a list of items which are date-published-ordered by default, however we usually like to move around the top 10 or so items to highlight certain items.

    We have found recently that when we save an item, it loses its previous custom order and reverts back to date order.

    Have you heard of anything similar to this happening before. We are at a bit of a loss because no updates have been made to our site recently that would have interfered with this.

    Hi,
    Possible you use another plugin or a custom code which reset the menu_order when update the post. I suggest to disable other plugins one by one to find which one produce the issue.
