    Hello,

Not sure if this is the right place to report but I thought I would want to let you know as this is important, although niche, issue.

In Woocommerce mobile app API keys are passed via the request URL (not headers) which is not a common practice. Therefore, if you have JWT Authentication for WP REST API plugin installed (which we need to have installed as we’re authenticating remote apps against WordPress), mobile app no longer can work properly.

As passing API keys via URL is not common practice, I surely do hope you’ll implement the necessary change so these two important assets can work together.

    Thanks!

    krko

    Hi there,

Thank you for letting us know about the incompatibility with JWT Authentication for WP REST API plugin.

Our developers are aware that passing API keys in the mobile app via request URL and not headers is not the best practice.

The current app is soon to be retired as the new app is coming up (currently in closed beta).

The testing was available here during past two weeks although I can’t guarantee you will be able to access it at the moment since the initial testing is now closed:

As for the authentication method used in the existing app – it probably won’t be changed since our developers are focused on the new app.

    I hope this helps!
