Need Category Drop-down for Search Bar

I am creating a review center and need my search bar to be optionally category specific.. similar to https://www.amazon.com/

Similar to Amazon, I would like our site visitors to be able to pull down and select a Category to search from, and then enter their search terms.

Does anyone know how I can do this?
