Organizing Custom Fields. Is it possible?

I don’t think this quite does what I need it to.

Basically, I’d like something that lets me add a “Position” value in the db to each Custom Field. Do you happen to know if anything like this exists?

I need this as well. It doesn’t seem to matter in which order I add custom fields in a post. The order that the custom fields display in seems to be randomly generated.

I would like to know the answer to this also please.

There is one workaround that I think will work and that is to name the custom fields in alphabetical or numerical order ie. Image 1, Image 2, Image 3 etc. I know this wont work in all situations but may in some. I don’t think there is an option available yet to do this… maybe in the next upgrade?
