in-line photo not showing in Firefox

    When I post a photo in a tweet, it shows up perfectly in Safari, but in Firefox, it shows up as a link where the link-text is the same as the original tweet-text, so the text is displayed twice then.

    Same goes for Youtube links. Picture of startframe shows up in Safari as expected, but not in Firefox.

    Is there a solution for this?

    Hi Martin,

    Yes, it’s still happening in Firefox. Do you mean you do see the picture on my website in Firefox?

    There’s one picture at the moment in my rotating tweets. It starts with “Ontmoeting met de legendarische Youth”. In Safari, the picture shows, in Firefox it doesn’t (just a link to the tweet itself).

    Very odd. Is there a setting or plug-in in your Firefox that might do this.

    In my copy, it’s showing fine – as per here

    Thanks Martin,
    Strange indeed.
    I’ve no plugins active in Firefox.
    Only thing that I can think of, is that it’s a Mac Firefox thing as I’m on a Mac.

    This is what I see:

    I’ll ask a friend with a Mac if he sees the same thing.

    The friend had no problem seeing the picture, so I refreshed Firefox to its default settings and now it’s fine.
