Using Better Notifications for WordPress to send an email to all website users when a New Event is published in Events Manager Pro. The email is being sent successfully and most of the Event details are included. However, I have not found a shortcode that will display the Calendar Date of the Event.

    These shortcodes work:
    [post_title]
    [post_content]

[post_date] shows the date the Event was published. I’m looking instead to display the Date the Event will occur.

    Hi @wpbccwnc5,
    Thanks for your message.

Providing that the date of the event is stored as a custom field, then you should be able to use the Custom Fields add-on to include this in your email notifications. You should check however with Events Manager Pro first however, to ensure that this is the case.

    Hope this helps!
