Welcome Page Duplicate Issue

  • I have looked in my Pages within my pages, and my Welcome page is just a single page.

    However, when I go to babyfaceband.com the welcome page is twice, second one is a duplicate.

    In Appearance > Customize > Homepage Setting, it shows deplete there, but no way to change it.
    Settings show Static Page > Homepage is set to “Welcome”

    I can not figure this out!!!

  • The welcome page is the default WordPress sample page that installs with WP. It is probably showing the sample post on repeating it.

    Go to pages and create a new page and name it “Home” then add your homepage content there.

    Then go to customizer and select it as the homepage.

    Have you looked at the page editor under Pages at the page that is set to your content is not duplicated there in the visual tab?

    Sorry, I misunderstood the first sentence of your original post. Unfortunately, I am at a loss then. Aside from there being a problem in your themes code I am not sure what it can be. Have you tried (for testing purposes) using one of the default themes such as Twenty Seventeen?

    I have now noticed that just about every page is duplicated. Even the cart and checkout page.

    After looking closer at your site I see that your using a theme by a developer who appears to provide support through their own website. Please contact your theme developer for support here:

    I’ve tagged the theme in the tags that are attached to this post… so maybe the developer will reply to this thread but I would suggest contacting them through their website if they don’t reply to this thread soon.

    Sorry I can not help further but I believe this is a bug with the theme and the theme developer will need to fix it by releasing an update.
