Monetization Settings not working properly

This is a great plugin and I like the new opportunity for monetizazion through implementing video intelligence (vi.ai) although I have an issue with it.

Unfortunately, the settings don’t work properly for me, e.g. if I check a box in the placement options and click on “Save Changes” afterwards the setting is not set.
If I repeat it over and over again it works sometimes, but most of the time it doesn’t and it’s pretty annoying to edit the same setting over and over again until something happens.

I’ve already tried clearing the caches (W3 Total Cache), deactivating the caching plugin and completely deinstalling it.
In each case, the monetization settings behave the same way.
I also tried it with WP Fastest Cache, but it doesn’t seem to make a difference which caching plugin I use with which options or if I use caching at all.
