  • One of the big advantages of working with GPL software, like WordPress, is that it allows you to set up and test a site, before having to pay for a site license.

    As a result, you are not trying to condense the work of pulling all the components together, setting it all up and testing, into a refund period of 30 days, with the clock counting down in the background.

    Plus, if it doesn’t work as expected, you don’t then have the extra hassle of trying to get a refund, and hoping the developer won’t find a reason not to pay you.

    Kim and Jason have understood that need perfectly, and created all the modules of Paid Memberships Pro as GPL software, and in so doing they have created, not only the most comprehensive membership platform I have ever seen, but they also do things “The WordPress Way.” and embrace the freedoms provided by the GPL.
