    I am using a mobile menu plugin “WP Mobile Menu” that also uses “Freemius” and they are seemingly in conflict (when I disable one or the other the errors disappear).

    Is this something that can be worked around? Like can it be disabled? Is it known to have this conflict or conflicts with other plugins that use “Freemius”? I briefly looked at what Freemius is, but pretty cluelessabout how it is being used by the plugins.

    Error below:

    Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: Argument 1 passed to Freemius::get_api_user_scope_by_user() must be an instance of FS_User, boolean given, called in /wp-content/plugins/woo-permalink-manager/freemius/includes/class-freemius.php on line 18507 and defined in /home/screeninnovation/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woo-permalink-manager/freemius/includes/class-freemius.php:18521 Stack trace: #0 /home/screeninnovation/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woo-permalink-manager/freemius/includes/class-freemius.php(18507): Freemius->get_api_user_scope_by_user(false) #1 /wp-content/plugins/woo-permalink-manager/freemius/includes/class-freemius.php(18545): Freemius->get_api_user_scope(false) #2 /wp-content/plugins/woo-permalink-manager/freemius/includes/class-freemius.php(15956): Freemius->get_current_or_network_user_api_scope() #3 /wp-content/plugins/woo-permalink-manager/freemius/includes/class-freemius in /wp-content/plugins/woo-permalink-manager/freemius/includes/class-freemius.php on line 18521

    Any insight is appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Additional note: I just tried individually activating them (instead of network activating on my multisite) and I worked on the subdomain site. I still get the error on the main/parent site.

    Hi @jdyach,

    My name is Vova and I’m from Freemius. If I understand correctly, the error appears when both plugins are network activated?

    Thanks for your reply @svovaf!

    “Mobile Menu” was initially network activated, and then I tried to network activate WCPM and discovered the error. I then deactivated both to test out on individual multisites and was able to activate both on my child site. The error persists either way on the parent site. With WCPM activated on the child site, I am not able to activate “Mobile Menu” at all on the parent site, even if individually WCPM is not activated on the parent site. Same error as above. Furthermore, if WCPM is activated on the child site, and I try to network activate “Mobile Menu” it breaks the entire site and I have to remove and reinstall the plugin to bring it back.

    I just tested on a 2nd child site with WCPM network activated, and was able to successfully activate “Mobile Menu” on that child site as well.

    Thanks for the details, @jdyach. We’ll investigate this. It would be great if you could access the debug page via /wp-admin/network/admin.php?page=freemius and send a full screenshot of the page to support AT freemius DOT com. It will help us to understand what’s going on. Please do NOT share the screenshot publicly since it has sensitive API keys.
