index2.php

    I an a beginner and made a WordPress website, however it starts with index2.php and not with the homepage. Instead it shows an error: page can not be found.
    Theme: Nisarg and static homepage defined via customizer/homepage definition.
    Could somone please help me?

    This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

    If you can install plugins, install “Health Check”: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/ On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

    If the problem persists, use your browser inspector to look for errors on the page where the issues occur.

    Do you have a page called ‘index’ in the bin? And if so, could it be deleted permanently?

    Your theme may have come with pre-published posts. In your wordpress dashboard, click on posts. Bulk delete any posts that you did not create except Hello World. After you delete the posts,- quick edit Hello World and change the status from published to draft.
