just awful

Would you mind sharing a little about your experience? Why do you feel it shouldn’t be implemented? Was there a part of the process you found cumbersome or un-intuitive, and if so, which?

I do very well know HTML, so, as I’m working, I’m used to switch between html mode and visual mode. When I first started to do that with the plugin, a month ago, I realized that I that I had lost my changes. So, it made me very nervous and I stopped using Gutemberg (and wrote a quick reaction here).

Today, I decided to give it a new try.

Well, as I started to use a re-usable bloc, re-usable content and started to think, that maybe, Gutemberg might have some interest, I realized that, when I re-opened the files that were modified with this bloc, the other blocs had disappear. I could still see them when I took a look at the previous versions, but could not recover them. All I could do, was close the post and re-open it in traditional mode (where the re-usable content was not available anymore).
I suppose it’s a bug.

For the rest, I haven’t really explored Gutemberg.

I also noticed that I could not manage to insert several images at a time, as i was used to.

And that’s it.

I will continue to explore it, as I understood I had no choice.

Voilà, voilà.
