• I have had my blog running for about two years (https://www.flexyourbody.com/wp) I just uploaded to 2.7.1 from 2.3. Everything went great. Then I cruised around the web, returned to my blog and cannot access it. Any ideas? This is frightening to me and I don’t know how to fix it….

    Thank you!

  • Did you happen to make a database backup and copy of files and folders from your server before you upgraded? I hope so …. in any case
    – Try disabling all plugins by renaming the plugins folder to something else like pluginsABC via FTP.
    – Reupload all WP 2.7.1 files and folders then run https://www.flexyourbody.com/wp/wp-admin/upgrade.php

OK. Let me ask this, before I proceed.

I use the K2 theme. I accidentally copied the info.php from the (way newer) K2 to this blog instead of my other one. Would this have anything to do with it? I uploaded the new K2 files to my directory via FTP just now but don’t know how to proceed to get it to load this new theme (or restore the original one), since I cannot get in at all. However, this may not be the problem.

WordPress backed up automatically so all my files should be in backup. They are all there on the server, too, as I saw in my ftp client. For some reason I just cannot access them now.

You should upload all the files and folders of WP 2.7.1. Have you checked upgrading your WP in Codex? As far as I am aware, there is no info.php file in the default theme. Where did you get yours? Maybe that’s the problem.
