status change after invoice mollie payment link

    Until now, customers receive an automatic invoice from our accounting program that cooperates with mollie. In this invoice (outside wordpress) the customer finds a link to mollie with which they can pay. This works well.

    Now I would like that if a customer has paid this payment link, and is therefore well processed in mollie, the status in woocommerce will change to paid. Is that possible and if so, how can I set this up? I tested it and the status does not change automatic at this time.

    Or is it only possible to change the status if the customer is directly linked from woocommerce to mollie and not with a payment link afterwards?

    Thank you for your patience!

    If the invoice is made and processed outside of WordPress, it probably does not communicate back to the webhook in the WordPress site. That is needed to update the status.

    Just to be sure: users place an order in WooCommerce, and then via an integration an automatic invoice and payment link is sent to the user? What software are you using for the invoices?
