    Hi.

    First of all, your service is great, the plugin is great and I hate it to bring this topic up, but I’m from Germany and the DSGVO/GDPR makes even pictures personal identifiable information if there are PII contents in it, like people which have not accepted their free use of these pictures.

    I know, it’s something which is still unsolvable without at least a gray area, but better something than nothing, and the reSmush.it service really lacks a Privacy Policy and maybe a Data Processing Agreement too.

    I hope you have a little bit of resources to make the service somewhat compliant.

    Thanks for using our plugin ??
    As we’re in France, we’re also concerned by the GPDR laws.
    We’re currently working on creating a Privacy Policy Page/Data Processing agreement on our website, that you’ll be able to consult, to make sure your website is fully GPDR OK ??

    Currently, pictures you send are only stored for 1 hour (time needed to be retrieved on your website), and we do not make copies or backup of the files provided. Also, we do not process any face recognition or another particular image processing (other than the optimization).
    We only store anonymous statistics of optimizations (filesize before and after, file fàrm and datetime).

    Thanks for these suggestions, I will make sure that these pages will be online by the end of september.
