Not Compatible with WP 4.9.8

    It’s been over a month and the compatibility of woocommerce 3.4.4 with wordpress 4.9.8 is still listed as “UNKNOWN”.

    What’s the problem?

    Hi there,

    Where do you see this compatibility notice?

    Current WooCommerce version is compatible with WordPress Version 4.7 or higher.

    When looking at the update page, wp-admin/update-core.php …
    There you see the plugins listed and their available updates and their status.
    It shows the compatability with the latest version of wordpress.

    I think you’re mistaken.

    Hi there,

    The latest version of WooCommerce was released on 25th of July while the latest version of WordPress was released on 3rd of August.

    That’s why the compatibility note is still there and this won’t be the case after the next WooCommerce update.

    I’m successfully running latest WooCommerce and WordPress versions on a few sites, but if you’d like to make sure no issues will arise after updating – you can test the updates on a staging site using WP Staging plugin.
