German Woocommerce text strings do not appear

    Hi!

    I use
    Woocommerce 3.4.4
    Woocommerce Germanized 2.0.4
    Hyyan WooCommerce Polylang Integration 1.2.0
    Loco Translate 2.1.5
    Polylang 2.3.10
    Polylang Theme Strings 4.0

    Last week I checked my site and recognized that the Woocommerce text is in English and NOT in German. German is the default language. A couple of weeks ago everything was OK. I checked with Loco Translate Woocommerce and the strings are correctly translated. The strange thing is that the POT file is in i18n/languages/woocommerce.pot and the PO and MO files are in wpcontent/languages/plugins. And in “Domain path” is i18n/languages. To test I moved the PO and MO files into i18n/languages, but this did NOT help.

    Would this help when I create a new PO file in the LOCO directory and translate there the relevant Woocommerce strings?

    It would be niche if someone could help me here. Thanks a lot in advance.

    I found the error:

    When I deactivate Polylang Theme Strings, everything is OK!

    In my case there is no plugin that is not compatible with Loco Translate. (Page could not be found. Check the output of the console for debug information). he used the hillter template.

    @albert0346 I’m marking as resolved as this fixes your issue.

    I don’t know anything about Polylang Theme Strings, but loading translation files from standard locations like wp-content/languages/plugins doesn’t even require Loco Translate is enabled. Loco Translate is only responsible for loading translation files when they’re in its “custom” location.

    @cristian2215 Your problem is unrelated to the one reported here.
