We got a ton of errors, customer complaints, duplicate orders, etc. because of issues involving Stripe. Then we find out that Stripe updated the plugin and it all made sense.

While we’ve received no errors since updating the plugin, I sure hope this is not going to be a repeat occurrence on the next update. Stripe needs to allow us time to update plugins before pulling support for prior versions or relegating older plugin versions calls to a slow/non primary pipe. What a nightmare today was!

    Hi @captaincrank,

Typically issues like this are caused by a theme or plugin conflict. As a first step, try switching back to a default theme like Twenty Seventeen and disable all plugins except for Stripe and WooCommerce to see if this resolves the issue.

Let us know if this helps.

Nah, everything was working just fine before the update to the new stripe plugin was released and we had no recent updates to other plugins. For whatever reason, the old plugin started timing out the day the new stripe plugin was released. Sure, updating to the new stripe plugin fixed the issue but we were left with a mess to cleanup – responding to unhappy customers, refunding duplicate orders, etc. But thanks for responding anyway.

    Hi @captaincrank

Thanks for the update. We’ll keep an eye out if we see any similar reports of this issue.

    Cheers,
